White was given a chance to make partial amends by grabbing the edge.Tony Frost then accompanied Troughton for the remainder of the day, as the pair added an unbeaten 121 for the fifth wicket. Nicky Boje plugged away throughout, sending down 33 overs, but couldn’t add to the one wicket he took back on the second evening.The result leaves Warwickshire in second place, six points ahead of Northamptonshire in third as they chase promotion to the first division.

O Corinthians foi notificado de uma ação judicial aberta pelo Coritiba para cobrar o atraso de três parcelas na compra dos direitos econômicos do atacante Kazim, realizada no início da temporada. O assunto, sem seguida, passou a ser discutido pelos departamentos jurídico e financeiro dos clubes.

Além das parcelas já vencidas, o Coritiba acrescentou na conta as duas parcelas que ainda não venceram, de maio e junho. A dívida passa de R$ 1,3 milhão envolvendo os valores e também os juros da negociação. O Coritiba pede que a Justiça realize a penhora de bens do Corinthians caso não haja pagamento. Oficialmente, nenhuma das partes comenta o caso.

Kazim tem apenas 13 jogos com a camisa do Corinthians, mas conquistou o carinho da Fiel torcida por conta das declarações e comportamento extra-campo. Ele deve ficar no banco na final do Campeonato Paulista, neste domingo, na Arena.

Em meio à venda de ingressos para as finais do Campeonato Paulista contra a Ponte Preta, o Corinthians inovou e lançou nesta quarta-feira um pacote de ingressos para 18 de suas 19 partidas como mandante na Arena, pelo Brasileirão – a única exceção é o jogo de estreia contra a Chapecoense, marcado para 13 de maio. O pacote completo oferece descontos de até 70% e comercializa ingressos a partir de R$ 21 dependendo do setor do estádio.

A venda foi aberta às 15h desta quarta-feira, por meio do site do programa Fiel Torcedor, e ocorrepara beneficiados (32 pontos ou mais) e sócios do Plano Meu Amor. Na quinta-feira a comercialização será aberta para os demais associados do programa e segue até o dia 15 de maio, com quantidade limitada.Quem adquirir o pacote receberá, também, nove pontos de bonificação para compra antecipada de ingressos dentro do programa.

O pacote para 18 jogos do Brasileirão no Setor Sul da Arena Corinthians, por exemplo, sai por R$ 388,80 (média de R$ 21,60 por partida). Os outros setores têm os seguintes valores: R$ 489,60 no Oeste Superior (R$ 27,20 por jogo), R$ 604,80 no Leste (R$ 33,60 por jogo), R$ 705,60 no Leste Central (R$ 39,20 por jogo), R$ 921,60 no Oeste Corner (R$ 51,20) e R$ 1281,60 no Oeste Inferior (R$ 71,20). Não há comercialização do pacote para o Setor Norte da Arena, que tem valor de face de R$ 40.

Originalmente, o valor de face dos ingressos são os seguintes: R$ 54 no Setor Sul (desconto de 60%), R$ 68 no Oeste Superior (descontos entre 60% e 70% dependendo do plano), R$ 84 no Leste (descontos entre 60% e 70% dependendo do plano), R$ 98 no Leste Central (descontos entre 60% e 70% dependendo do plano), R$ 128 no Oeste Corner (descontos entre 60% e 70% dependendo do plano) e R$ 178 no Oeste Inferior (descontos entre 60% e 70% dependendo do plano). Os valores de descontos variam de acordo com os planos Minha Vida, Minha História e Meu Amor.

Segundo a assessoria da Arena Corinthians, a partida contra a Chapecoense não foi incluída para que o pacote ficasse um pouco mais de tempo disponível para o Fiel Torcedor. Além disso, como será o primeiro jogo do Brasileirão, o clube prepara ações específicas para a partida.

Sheffield United are said to be favouring sending Daniel Jebbison out on loan to Belgian side Beerschot, according to The Sun.

What’s the story?

Jebbison caught the eye with some impressive showings towards the end of the 2020/21 season with United, as he featured after their relegation from the Premier League was confirmed.

The youngster scored on his first-team debut against Everton at Goodison Park and will have been hoping to build on that moving forwards into the new league campaign.

However, the Blades are seemingly set to send him out on loan for this season, with the likes of Doncaster, Burton Albion and Sunderland being reportedly interested in landing his signature.

The Sun claim that Sheff United are reportedly keen to send him out on loan to Belgian side Beerschot, instead of the Black Cats, where he could have gained valuable experience in English football at a senior level.

‘Shining light’

Jebbison is still only 18, and had an average Whoscored rating of 6.43 from the four appearances he made for United last term, as they dropped out of the top-flight after a disappointing season.

Speaking in an interview in the 2020/21 season (quotes sourced from Yorkshire Live), Sky Sports pundit Micah Richards issued high praise for Jebbison, and labelled him as ‘the shining light’.

“I really like the look of him. He just gets in the right areas, and they needed that with all the negativity that’s gone on at the club.

“You want to bounce back straight away, and you want to go to the end of the season with positivity. They’re playing for pride, and he’s the shining light.”

The forward is early into his senior career and you have to trust Slavisa Jokanovic’s judgement with this transfer update on Jebbison’s future.

The Blades already have a number of strong options in a similar position, and so you can understand Jokanovic’s decision on the 18-year-old moving forwards in the summer transfer window.

It’s refreshing to see him looking at sending Jebbison out on loan, as he could easily have him playing Under-23s football once again, but it looks as though he’ll be furthering his development with a move elsewhere before the transfer window closes.

However, it is surprising to see United looking to send him out on loan to Beerschot instead of Sunderland, who are likely to be able to offer him regular game time in English football.

English football is known for playing at a high intensity, compared to other leagues around Europe. Therefore, it has come as an eye-opener to see the Blades looking at sending him on loan to Beerschot, instead of a club in England.

The Black Cats are still searching for a replacement for Charlie Wyke, with the forward opting to pursue a move to Wigan Athletic instead. So, you would have imagined that Lee Johnson’s side would have been able to offer Jebbison regular game time in senior football. It’s surprising that United are choosing to send the youngster abroad rather than to another English side.
