Depois de 14 temporadas na Europa e vindo de um período de férias após o título da Copa América, a tendência é que Filipe Luís precise de tempo para readaptar-se ao futebol brasileiro e ao novo clube. Contudo, no Flamengo, o lateral-esquerdo reencontrará parceiros da Seleção Brasileira e Atlético de Madrid (ESP), os quais atuou ao lado em mais de 60 partidas. Chegando na Gávea em meio à disputa do Brasileirão e Libertadores, tal fato pode ajudar Filipe Luís a sentir-se “em casa no Ninho” e logo entrosar-se com a equipe.
O companheiro mais conhecido por Filipe Luís é o meia Diego, atual camisa 10 e capitão do Flamengo. Os dois estiveram juntos no Atleti por três temporadas e, de acordo com o site “Transfermarkt”, atuaram em 53 partidas lado a lado. Eles foram campeões da La Liga, em 2013/14, e da Europa League, em 2011/12.
Contudo, Filipe Luís chega ao clube no momento em que Diego sofreu uma grave lesão: o camisa 10 sofreu uma fratura no tornozelo esquerdo diante do Emelec, nesta quarta-feira, e será submetido a um processo cirúrgico no Rio.
O goleiro Diego Alves, o zagueiro Rodrigo Caio, o lateral-direito Rafinha, o meia Everton Ribeiro e o atacante Gabriel Barbosa conhecem Filipe Luís das convocações para a Seleção Brasileira. As tratativas entre Flamengo e Filipe Luís começaram ainda em maio, antes da Copa América. Até o acerto, o lateral-esquerdo ouviu muitos pedidos para acertar com o Rubro-Negro. Alguns deles vieram dos amigos Diego e Rafinha, que defendem o time da Gávea, e Lucas Paquetá, que deixou o clube em 2018 e disputou a Copa América deste ano com o camisa 6 pela Seleção Brasileira.
Os jogadores trocaram informações e incentivaram Filipe Luís a acertar com o seu clube de infância – fato destacado pelo Flamengo no anúncio do reforço. A prioridade do lateral era ficar na Espanha, onde os filhos nasceram e mora há anos, mas, voltando para o Brasil, sua primeira opção era a equipe da Gávea.
MISTER ELOGIA CONTRATAÇÃO
Filipe Luís foi anunciado pelo Flamengo na terça-feira, quando o elenco estava em Guayaquil preparando-se para o duelo com o Emelec, pela ida das oitavas de final da Libertadores. No Equador, o técnico Jorge Jesus elogiou o reforço.
-Filipe Luis é um jogador da Seleção do Brasil, com um histórico que todo mundo conhece e não requer apresentação. No futebol, temos que mostrar todos os dias o nosso valor e o Filipe vai mostrar isso no Flamengo. Tem características que nos agrada bastante – analisou o comandante português.
Filipe Luís chega para ser o dono da posição no Rubro-Negro. Atualmente, a camisa 6 pertence a Renê, eleito melhor lateral-esquerdo do Campeonato Brasileiro de 2018. O Mister ainda tem como opção Trauco, que integrou a Seleção da Copa América. A seleção peruana foi derrotada na final pelo Brasil.
O primeiro contato de Filipe Luís com o elenco e comissão técnica do Flamengo deve acontecer nesta sexta-feira, no CT do Ninho do Urubu. O lateral é aguardado no Rio de Janeiro nesta quinta-feira, enquanto a delegação retorna de Guayaquil. No domingo, o Rubro-Negro encara o Botafogo pelo Brasileirão.

Rishi Dhawan and Akshar Patel held their nerve during a counterattacking partnership of 93 in 12.3 overs for the seventh wicket to stun Australia A in the Quadrangular Series final at Marrara Oval. The target of 275 looked distant when India A had slumped to 51 for 3, and later to 182 for 6, but Australia’s bowlers struggled to dislodge Akshar and Dhawan, both promising allrounders, and India completed the chase with more than an over to spare.That India got to a fighting position after the initial hiccup was thanks to Manoj Tiwary and Kedar Jadhav, who struck half-centuries. The four individual performances overshadowed Cameron White’s efforts earlier in the day, when he scored 137 to take Australia to a competitive total.Dhawan and Akshar came together after Jadhav fell for 78 in the 37th over, slicing Ben Cutting to short third man. Dhawan had a few close calls when he played forceful shots in the air and was lucky the ball dropped just short of the fielders. Australia paid for not converting those half chances. At the end of the 39th over, the required rate had risen above seven, and though the early part of the partnership didn’t feature too many boundaries, Dhawan and Akshar ensured they stayed in the game by keeping dot balls to a minimum.The real acceleration began in the 45th over, when India needed 45. The legspinner Cameron Boyce leaked 15 in an over as Akshar launched him over long-on and then slogged him to deep midwicket for a four. It brought the equation down to a run a ball and India collected a boundary in each of the next four overs to close the door on the Australians. Dhawan was harsh on the seamer Kane Richardson, reaching his fifty with a paddle down to fine leg. Akshar scored the winning runs with a cut to the point boundary off Clint McKay in the 49th over.India had begun the chase nervously, losing their top three by the 11th over. Ambati Rayudu was the third wicket to fall, but he didn’t appear convinced with the lbw decision off Cutting. Jadhav and Tiwary helped India recover with a steady stand of 82 in 16 overs. Cutting ended the stand when Tiwary hooked a bouncer to long leg, falling for 50 off 75 balls. Jadhav reached his fifty off only 48 balls and his positive batting kept India in the hunt. Sanju Samson’s run-out gave Australia the edge, but the well-set Jadhav remained crucial to India’s chances. His departure tested the mettle of the allrounders, who were not intimidated by the asking rate.Australia had been primed for a total in excess of 300 after winning the toss, considering the start provided by the openers White and Phillip Hughes. The pair put on 146 in just under 27 overs before Hughes pulled a short ball off Dhawal Kulkarni to short fine leg for 51. White raced to his century in the 31st over and he fell in the 44th, hitting ten fours and five sixes. The seamers restricted the hosts towards the later stages of the innings, with Kulkarni getting White caught at long-on and then yorking Moises Henriques.Mitchell Marsh holed out to deep midwicket the following over as Australia looked to regain lost ground. Cutting’s brisk 35 off 21 balls took Australia to 274, but it wasn’t enough to sink India, who took the title with their sixth consecutive win on tour.

Also in his conference, van Bronckhorst confirmed that Aaron Ramsey is not ready to start a game for the Light Blues yet following his arrival on loan from Juventus on Transfer Deadline Day:
“Ramsey is not quite ready to start yet.
“You can see his quality in training and in his early minutes.
“He is improving every day and it is great to see the improvements in only a week.”
The Verdict: Double blow
Of course, it is a double blow for the Gers that they will not be able to field either Jack or Ramsey in the middle of the park from the off.
Gers fans will be begging to see their new signing on the pitch from the get go sooner rather than later, especially after losing ground to Celtic following their 3-0 Old Firm loss.
Van Bronckhorst was particularly pleased with Jack’s performance in the derby after coming off of the bench, claiming that he was ‘the best man on the pitch in the second half’, and that that he ‘changed’ the game and ‘made a big difference’ (Rangers TV via Yahoo).
Nonetheless, the onus will now be on the likes of Joe Aribo, Glen Kamara and John Lundstram to control the game from midfield against Hibs.

Ambati Rayudu, Kedar Jadhav and Sanju Samson contributed with the bat as India A chased 229 with 13 deliveries to spare.Tiwary sent the hosts plummeting from 1 for 126 to 6 for 180, picking up 5 for 34 in ten overs. Marcus Stoinis made a fifty at the top of the order and shared a solid partnership with Phillip Hughes before Akshar Patel provided the breakthrough in the 17th over. The second-wicket partnership between Hughes and Peter Nevill had grown to 48 when Tiwary had the latter stumped for 23. Tiwary claimed the next four wickets, removing captain Cameron White, Hughes, Tom Cooper and Alex Doolan. Akshar ended the innings in the final over when he dismissed Ben Cutting for 22 to claim 3 for 30.Manan Vohra departed in the fourth over of the chase to Clint McKay after which Robin Uthappa had another failure on the tour, when he was caught off Pat Cummins for 13. Tiwary did not last long as well but Rayudu and Jadhav revived the innings with a century stand for the fourth wicket. Jadhav stroked 52 off 50 and Samson took over after the former fell in the 33rd over. Samson made an unbeaten 49 off 51 while Rayudu, who made 77 off 112, exited with the score on 191. Parvez Rasool came in and hit an unbeaten 20 off 16 even as Samson finished the game with successive fours off Cutting.India A finished with five wins in six games while Australia A were second with four out of six. The teams will meet in the final to be played on Saturday in Darwin.

Mateus Vital mostrou seu cartão de visitas no Corinthians nesta quinta-feira em seu primeiro treino no CT Joaquim Grava. Com os reservas, já que os titulares ficaram na academia após serem derrotados por 1 a 0 para a Ponte Preta na estreia no Campeonato Paulista, o meia participou de um coletivo em campo reduzido e deixou boa impressão, inclusive nos membros da comissão técnica.
Mateus, de 19 anos, é meia e pode jogar em qualquer uma das posições avançadas do meio de campo, seja pelos lados ou por dentro. No treino, flutuou com facilidade por essas áreas e mostrou que gosta de se movimentar. Também apresentou habilidade, como ao driblar o volante Fellipe Bastos, que só conseguiu parar o companheiro com falta, indo ao chão.
O primeiro treino de Mateus Vital não teve as presenças de Henrique e Emerson Sheik, outros dois recém-contratados. O zagueiro e o atacante fazem atividade física para ficarem no nível dos demais. Eles treinaram em dois períodos nesta quinta. Henrique ainda aguarda para ser apresentado, enquanto Sheik será nesta sexta-feira às 13h no CT Joaquim Grava.
Já Mateus pode está liberado para atuar a tendência é que já fique no banco neste sábado contra o São Caetano no Pacaembu. Ele vinha fazendo pré-temporada no Vasco e está com boas condições físicas.
